Mark 6:22-24

²² And the daughter ^[a]of the same Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod, and them that sat at table together, the King said unto the maid, Ask of me what thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

²³ And he swore unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, even unto the half of my kingdom.

^24 (A)So ^[b]she went forth, and said to her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, John Baptist’s head.
